What if the answer was so simple, it was already inside you?
More movement and less pain. Better sleep and less anxiety. Feeling healthier with greater vitality. All with less medication, or even no medication at all.
What if the answer to your health problems was so simple, and made so much sense, you couldn’t believe no one had told you about it?
“Why didn’t anybody ever tell me about this?”
It’s a common question on the lips of upper cervical patients. Especially those who have struggled for years with a mysterious set of symptoms, to which no one has provided a satisfying answer.
Especially when that set of symptoms melts away after their first upper cervical correction.
Our amazing knowledge
As I studied to become a doctor of chiropractic, I read the same physiology and pathology books that medical students do.
Often I was astounded by the breadth and depth of the knowledge they contained. I often exclaimed to myself, “How did they figure that out!”
Amazing things, like how and why viruses, germs, and cancers infect and affect individual cells. Astounding things like the thousands of steps the body takes to heal a wound. It was amazing to learn.
Our incomplete understanding
Yet, for every time I caught my breath at some awesome fact, I was also confused by what little information we have for simple, common things.
Like how simple pain becomes chronic pain. Like why some children are prone to ear infections. Like why some people suffer terribly from migraines, and others never seem to get a headache.
Inside versus outside
For all the knowledge we have about what attacks the body from the outside-in, with the exception of genetics, we lack much knowledge about what destroys the body from the inside out. What makes it prone to weakness and imbalance.
Like why something so simple as the position of the head in relation to the neck can make such a huge difference for people who are suffering. Who, so far, haven’t gotten an answer.
I hope they can find their “Why didn’t anybody tell me about this?” moment. I hope they find it through upper cervical care.
