You deserve a solution as unique as you are
Your unique correction formula. That’s why we spend so much time learning to perfect the NUCCA procedure.
An upper cervical misalingment is like a fingerprint. The complexity and delicate nature of the upper cervical spine makes it necessary for gentle precision. The NUCCA procedure is so exact, in fact, that the formula we use to correct your imbalance is unique to you. It’s unlikely that we will find anyone that has the exact same structure as you.
Why do we use this kind of precision? 3 good reasons:
1. By being exact we can be very gentle. There is no forcing bones, muscles, and ligaments. We work with them to move them toward a more balanced position.
2. By being exact your body is more likely to accept your new alignment. By definition traditional manipulation is taking a joint to the end its motion, and thrusting through to the limits of the joint. It can be an effective approach, but in the neck, gentler methods mean less resistance from the patient. By balancing the head and neck together, the body tends to accept and hold the alignment for longer periods of time. Better alignment can mean better healing.
3. We can measure if we’ve made a correction, and follow your progress. By being precise we can eliminate the guesswork that tends to come with other methods. By the end of your second visit we will know if we’ve done enough to rebalance your upper cervical spine because we will have measured the changes. That means you can walk out of our office knowing that you are in better balance than when you walked in.
