Dr. Ward
A message from Dr. Zachary Ward of Ward Chiropractic Group in Ames, Iowa.
Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I hope you have found it helpful.
Choosing a chiropractor is an important decision, especially if this is your first time considering chiropractic care. It’s important to get to know your doctor of chiropractic. Please keep reading to learn more about me.
I am a student of life, a lover of learning, a father of 3 children, and husband to my best friend, my awesome wife. The mission of my practice is to relieve suffering and improve whole body health through a little known, yet powerful procedure that’s been featured on Good Morning America, PBS Chicago, and Discovery Health.
This website may be your first exposure to NUCCA upper cervical chiropractic care, but it won’t be your last. Several years ago NUCCA gave me a powerful healing experience, which restored my hope in natural body healing. It’s a hope that I want you to share with me.
I am both a NUCCA doctor and a NUCCA patient who holds my alignment for months at a time. With NUCCA my posture has improved, the natural, healthy curve of my neck has been restored, and I’m walking taller now than I ever have before.
If we want to live with less pain, more movement, a fuller life, our goal should always be to remove the interference to the healthy expression of life. Please allow the NUCCA procedure help facilitate your body’s self healing.
A unique approach
For over 75 years, a small group of chiropractic doctors has researched, documented, and learned to correct a little-known barrier to self-healing, known as the upper cervical misalignment.
Today that work continues under the guidance of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, or NUCCA, a non-profit organization formed in 1966.
Dr. Ward is a NUCCA member and practitioner, specializing in the gentle, restorative procedure that restores body balance.
The NUCCA procedure reduces spinal stress and improves self-healing. The procedure has generated the most attention for its ability to help reduce high blood pressure, as documented in the Journal of Human Hypertension. More studies are under way.
